It is operated at the sole pleasure and discretion of the blog owner, and the blog owner reserves the right to modify the content of the site in any way that is within the laws of the United States at his sole discretion. Posting of comments by readers of this blog is allowed by the owner at his sole discretion for the general purpose of encouraging the free exchange of ideas. Disagreement is allowed, however, there are practical limits on what forms of dissent are permissable. Please read the next paragraph carefully.
Users who post comments that are abusive of other people, advocate violence, or are profane in nature will have those specifc comments edited or deleted by the blog owner. A repeated history of posting such comments may be grounds for deletion of a user account, or banning of the IP address associated with such comments, or both. It is impossible to create a fully comprehensive listing of every circumstance that might be edited or deleted, so we will all have to live with an imperfect description of what is not allowed. The owner of this blog believes that adults are capable of understanding the common-sense meanings of ‘don’t abuse other people’, ‘don’t advocate violence toward others’ and ‘don’t use express yourself in obscene and/or profane ways’.
